Autauga County Counts On Our Farmers! 

Agriculture, Forestry and Related Industries Generate an Annual Economic Impact in Autauga County of about $915 million and 7,328 jobs...That's Something to Celebrate! 

Every year, during harvest season, our community comes together to enjoy an evening celebration as we as we celebrate the agriculture, forestry, and other related industries that make Autauga County and Prattville a unique place to live, work and to raise a family. This year's theme, "Autauga County Counts on Farmers", commemorates the vital role that our farmer's play in our community's economy, vitality and culture....and everyone is invited to attend!  

Since 1982, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce has brought our residents together for night of celebration to honor and applaud our farmers, businesses and agriculture community for their invaluable contributions. This family friendly evening celebration includes a delicious steak dinner provided by Karen Tucker Catering, awards honoring the business leader of the year, the farmer of the year, and recognition of the student winners for the Farm City Week poster, essay, and video contests, and much more!

•          Autauga County has more than 350 Farms totaling over 104,000 acres.
•          98% of our Farms are Family Farms, 5% sell directly to consumers.   
•          35% or 124 farms are 50-179 acres in size; 29% or 101 farms are 10-49 acres.
