Autauga County Technology Center Invites Everyone to Their Community-Wide Open House Thursday, March 7, 2024

Autauga County, Prattville, AL –  On March , from 4:30- 6:00 pm., the Autauga County Technology Center (ACTC) will open their doors to our community. Everyone is invited to come see, learn, and experience how ACTC, 1301 Upper Kingston Road in Prattville, is preparing our students for success during their Community Wide-Open House,  hosted by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce. This event is being held in conjunction with Career Day, that will be held earlier in the day from 8:00-3:00 P.M., for students. Career Day will feature a variety of exhibitors, made up of local industries and businesses. These organizations will highlight company information and share relevant skill sets for their career paths to student. 

Parents, students, and community individuals are encouraged to attend the open house portion of the event to learn more about ACTC programs and how they connect to today’s workforce. ACTC provides a diverse curriculum designed to prepare students for entry into the workforce or for further study in the postsecondary setting. This institution offers courses that link school-based learning with career-related experiences. Currently, 12 Career Tech Programs are offered including Automotive, Business Management, Cosmetology, Early Childhood Education, Engineering, Family & Consumer Science, Fire Science, Health Care, Information Technology, Law, Manufacturing and Welding.
