40th Annual Autauga County Farm City Banquet a Huge Success!
Autauga County, AL – The Autauga CountyCommission was honored to partner with the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce for the Annual Farm City Banquet, themed “OurCommunity Counts On Our Farmers”, that was held on November 16th atthe R.H. Kirkpatrick Agricultural Pavilion in Autaugaville. State and localelected officials, and community leaders came together to celebrate our farmersand farming families who work tirelessly ensuring agriculture remains strong inAutauga County!
During this yearly celebration, our residents pay tribute tothe vibrant agricultural heritage of Autauga County, acknowledging ourachievements in business and farming through award presentations, fellowship,and a delicious steak dinner, prepared by Karen Tucker Catering. This year,participants had the pleasure of engaging with our youth, including members ofFFA and 4-H, to learn about the positive influence these students are having onagriculture within our community.
Under the direction of Mike Lamar, Chairman, the PrattvilleChamber Farm City Committee proudly celebrated local agriculture, forestry andother related industries in partnership with the Autauga County Commission, theCities of Autaugaville and Prattville.
The Farm City Committee was proud to present awards to the 2024Business Leader of the Year and 2024 Farmer of the Year, 2024 Farm City PosterWinners, 2024 Farm City Essay Winners, and 2024 Farm City Video Winner.
