CACF and WSFA Partner to Help The Central Alabama Tornado Relief Drive

Autauga County, Autauga County, ALOur partners at Central Alabama Community Foundation and WSFA 12News are coming together to make it easier to help the Central Alabama Tornado Relief Drive on Wednesday, Jan. 18th from 6:00 AM- 6:30PM. During this time, you can call a designated phone number to make a donation that will help tornado survivors in their rebuilding and recovery efforts in the communities affected, Autauga, Dallas and Elmore County.  

On January 12th, 2023, an EF3 tornado cut a deadly path through Autauga County, it was on the ground for over 76 miles and was over three-quarters of a mile wide at its peak width. More than 1,150 homes were directly in the path of this deadly tornado, not only did many residents in our community lose everything, several lost loved ones. And now, our community and residents are faced with the daunting task of rebuilding.

During the donation process, you will be able to designate where you would like to donate:

·      Autauga County Disaster Relief Fund

·      Dallas County Disaster Relief Fund

·      Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund

·      Spread Evenly Between Autauga, Dallas, and Elmore Counties

Your donation will send a message of Hope, Help, and Healing to tornado survivors in their rebuilding and recovery efforts, no amount is too small.

Gifts by credit card incur a processing fee of 3.0%, which will be deducted from your gift, we invite you to increase your gift to cover this fee.
