Audra Smith, Deputy Administrator, Receives ACCA’s Inaugural "One Family Award

Audra Smith, Autauga County Deputy Administrator, was one of the first to receive a new award from the Association of County Commissions of Alabama during the ACCA 95th Annual Convention. 

The Association presented the “One Family Award” to individuals and entities whose efforts over the past year extended well beyond their own county lines and truly embodied the County Family spirit of ACCA! 

Leadership from multiple counties throughout Alabama have been praising and thanking Audra Smith  for giving her time and sharing her knowledge to help them to better understand important financial software. She has been working individuals in with other counties to better understand the software, often spending nights and weekends away from home. We are so very thankful for her leadership and so grateful Audra is a part of the Autauga County Team!   


 The Jefferson County Commission, Jefferson County Roads andTransportation Department, also received the inaugural “One Family Award” for givingof their time, equipment and manpower to help our county with the clean-up fromthe deadly January 12, 2023 tornadoes that destroyed portions of our community.These crews stayed in our county for nearly two weeks to help when our countyneeded them the most and we are so grateful to them! We proud and honored to bea part of the County Family!
