Community Seeds 2024 Comes to Autauga County, AL, Thursday, June 14th
5/1/2024

How should Alabama’s developers, designers, and government respond to the ongoing housing shortage? This one-day workshop will help answer that question by providing examples of successful projects, policies, and strategies that have encouraged high-quality housing within Alabama. It will introduce opportunities for improvement that respond to Alabama’s rural character, limited resources, and underserved communities. Attendees will hear from experts in housing design, permitting, construction, and financing. The workshop will include a discussion and tour of the Mill, the redevelopment of a historic mill into multi-family housing adjacent to Prattville’s main street business district.
