Autauga County to Celebrate Agricultural Heritage at 43rd Annual Farm City Banquet
AUTAUGA COUNTY, AL. — The Autauga County Commission joins the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce in inviting residents to celebrate the 43rd Annual Farm City Banquet on Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the R.H. Kirkpatrick Agricultural Pavilion in Autaugaville.
This year's theme, “America's 250: Founded by Farmers,” recognizes the generations of farmers, families, and businesses whose contributions have helped shape our nation and strengthen our communities.
Agriculture, forestry, and related industries remain vital to Autauga County's economy, generating approximately $915 million in annual economic impact and supporting 7,328 jobs, according to event organizers.
“Agriculture and forestry have helped shape Autauga County for generations and remain essential to our economy and way of life,” said Autauga County Commission Chairman Jay Thompson. “As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we are proud to recognize the hardworking farmers, families, and businesses who continue this legacy. The Farm City Banquet is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their contributions and the connections that strengthen our communities.”
From Autaugaville and Billingsley to Pine Level and Prattville, agriculture connects communities throughout Autauga County. From family farms and timber production to local businesses and supporting industries, its impact reaches far beyond the farm and contributes to the county's economic strength and rural heritage.
The annual banquet brings together farmers, business leaders, and residents for an evening of fellowship and recognition. Guests will enjoy a steak dinner catered by Karen Tucker Catering, door prizes, and awards honoring the Business Leader of the Year, Farmer of the Year, and student poster and essay contest winners.
The celebration also highlights Farm-City Week, held every fall, recognizing the important relationship between agriculture, business, and communities across Autauga County.
