Explore the Outdoors: 2026 Autauga County Fall Landowner Tour
Autauga County's annual Fall Landowner Tour returns on Friday, November 6, 2026, offering residents, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts a wonderful opportunity to experience the natural beauty of our county while learning more about forestry, wildlife, and responsible land stewardship.
This year's tour will take place at the Tommy and Ann Rainwater property in Billingsley, Alabama. Hosted by the Autauga Forestry & Wildlife Stewardship Council and its partners, this annual event brings our community together to explore the outdoors, exchange ideas, and discover new ways to care for and benefit from our natural resources.
Participants will enjoy a guided riding tour through the property, with educational presentations covering a variety of topics, including:
Pollinators and the Auburn University Bee Lab
Opportunities for carbon sequestration income
Benefits of growing-season prescribed burns
Pine straw as a potential revenue source
Whether you own timberland, manage a family farm, enjoy wildlife and the outdoors, or simply want to learn more about the land around us, this tour offers something for everyone.
