Baptist Health Invests $6.5 Million In Prattville Baptist Hospital Adding 22-Bed Wing For Inpatient Psychological and Behavior Care

Autauga County, AL- The Autauga County Commission was proud and honored to attend Prattville Baptist Hospital’s New Geriatric Behavioral Unit Ribbon Cutting Celebration. This $6.5 million investment in our community features a brand new 22-bed wing designed for inpatient psychological and behavioral care for older patients. This addition will provide a secure environment with optimal treatment and management of complex mental health conditions for older patients 55+ in Central Alabama. 

Bringing these needed services to our community not only changes the landscape of our hospital campus but of Autauga County and the City of Prattville as well. Growth in healthcare services helps attract more people to our area and further confirms Baptist Health’s and Prattville Baptist Hospital’s commitment to expanding services now and well into the future.
