Central Alabama Community College in Autauga County Hosts F.A.M.E. Student Signing Ceremony
Prattville, Autauga County, AL - Last week, Central Alabama Community College held itsofficial student signing ceremony for the Federation for Advanced ManufacturingEducation (F.A.M.E.) Program, bringing together students, industry partners,educators, families, and community leaders to celebrate the next generation ofAlabama’s skilled workforce.
The F.A.M.E. Program provides students with a unique “earnwhile you learn” opportunity that combines classroom instruction with hands-onindustry experience. Through partnerships with leading manufacturers andemployers across the region, students gain valuable technical training,real-world experience, and a direct pathway into high-demand careers inadvanced manufacturing and industrial automation.

- Kinedyne — Samual Steel Shephard, Autauga Academy 2025 Graduate & Current CACC Student
- International Paper — David Dolbear

- STERIS — Michael Mosley, Navy Military Veteran

Programs like F.A.M.E. play a critical role in strengtheningthe workforce pipeline throughout Central Alabama by connecting studentsdirectly with local industry partners while preparing them for long-term careersuccess. The program also supports regional economic development efforts byhelping industries develop and retain a highly skilled workforce close to home.
