Autauga PALS Celebrates Successful April Spring Clean-Up Events

Autauga County proudly recognizes the success of the AutaugaPALS 2026 Community-Wide Spring Clean-Up efforts that were held throughout the month ofApril in partnership with Alabama PALS . Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, local leaders, churches, and communitypartners, nearly 3,000 pounds of litter and debris were removed from roadwaysand public areas throughout Autauga County.

Clean-up events were held in Autaugaville, Billingsley, PineLevel, and Prattville with the First United Methodist Church, Prattville (FBCP). Together, theseevents brought out a total of 97 volunteers who collected approximately 172bags of trash and debris countywide.

Community Clean-Up Totals:

  • Town of Billingsley (April 4)
    30 volunteers | 60 bags collected | 1,000 lbs. removed
  • FBCP (April 11)
    20 volunteers | 22 bags collected | 300 lbs. removed
  • Town of Pine Level (April 18)
    24 volunteers | 50 bags collected | 800 lbs. removed
  • Town of Autaugaville (April 25)
    23 volunteers | 40 bags collected | 900 lbs. removed

“These clean-up events are a great example of what can beaccomplished when communities come together with pride and purpose,” said BudBurt, Autauga PALS president.  “We are incredibly grateful to every volunteer, organization, municipality, and partner who stepped up to help make our communities and roadways cleaner and more beautiful for everyone.”

Autauga PALS and Alabama PALS extend sincere appreciation to all participants for their time, effort, and commitment to protecting the beauty of our communities. Efforts like these continue to strengthen community pride and support the ongoing “Don’t Drop It On Alabama” montra across our state.
