Farm City Week Nov. 21-27, 2025: This Years Theme "GROW ALABAMA"

Autauga County Commission Chairman Vice-Chairman JohnThrailkill was honored to join state and local elected officials, and communityleaders from Autauga County, Billingsley, Pine Level, and Prattville at PowellFarms for a proclamation ceremony proclaiming November 21-27, 2025 as  Farm City Week in Autauga County and ourmunicipalities.  This year's theme is"Grow Alabama”.

“Agriculture and farming have always created a strong economythroughout Autauga County region, from providing food for our table, fiber forclothing, and timber grown in Autauga County is used by local industriesincluding International Paper and United Forestry Products. The economic impactis evident both locally and on a global scale,” said Commissioner JohnThrialkill.  “This is a week to honor andcelebrate the farmers and their families who make Autauga County an even betterplace for us all.” 

      

For more than 40 years, PrattvilleArea Chamber of Commerce Farm City Committee has brought our communitiestogether to celebrate our local farmers and the importance of agriculture asthe foundation of our local economy!  The week-long celebration willend with the Annual Farm City Banquet being held on Thursday, November 20th from6-8 PM in Autaugaville at the R.H.Kirkpatrick Arena. 

Everyone is invited to come enjoy this annual familyfun-filled night of celebration honoring our rich Autauga County agriculturalheritage.  Tickets are required and canbe secured by calling the Chamber at 334-365-7392.
