Alabama's 2023 Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday Begins Friday, Feb. 24, 2023

Alabama’s Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday 2023will be from Friday, February 24, 2023 through Sunday, February 26, 2023.This event gives citizens an opportunity to purchase certain severe weather preparedness supplies free from state sales or use tax (local sales and use tax may apply). 

The Autauga County Commission unanimously passed Resolution #2013-01 on January 9, 2013 to annually participate in the Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday. This year, the holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. (CST) on Friday, February 24, 2023 and ends at midnight on Sunday, February 26, 2023.
