AUTAUGA COUNTY REVENUE OFFICE COVID-19 RESPONSE

As a county official, we are often called on to make uncomfortable

decisions. While we always strive to make services readily and quickly available

for Autauga residences, we are now faced with balancing that effort with the

control of the COVID-19 panademic. Our efforts must be in cooperation and with

mutual support of those agencies seeking to minimize the effects of the COVID-19

panademic. We recognize that some people will disagree with those efforts, but

please understand that any decisions we make are out of love and concern for ALL

Autauga County residents. The health and safety of our citizens is our number one

priority.

In light of recent events and in an effort to do our part to help ensure the

safety of Autauga County residents, commencing, Wednesday, March 18, 2020,

our office will follow the following procedures:

Our office will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The office will close

from noon until 1:00 p.m. each day for extensive midday cleaning.

Commencing Wednesday March 18, 2020 and through April 6, 2020, our

office will be following the Center for Disease Control’s recommended guidelines

related to social distancing. This means that only two windows will be operating

during normal operation hours. We will be limiting the number of customers

allowed in our office during this time. If you decide to visit this office, please be

prepared for lengthy wait times.

Please be aware that you can pay your property taxes online at

https://autauga.capturecama.com. In an effort to reduce face to face customer

employee contact, please take advantage of paying your taxes online with an E-

check at no additional charge. A credit card fee will still be paid to the credit card

vendor, should a customer decide to use that form of payment. Neither the Autauga

County Commission nor the Autauga County Revenue Office can waive fees paid

to outside vendors.
