| Mr. Thompson is a lifelong resident of Autauga County whose roots stem back to the 1850s in Autauga County. He is married to the former Wendy Connell of Marbury. He and Wendy have three children: Morgan, Jack, and Grant. Jay graduated from Prattville High School in 1992 before receiving his Associate Degree in Drafting & Design Technology from John Patterson State Technical College. Jay is a second generation Home Builder who has owned and operated his own business since 1995. Mr. Thompson, elected in 2008, is serving his first term as Commissioner in District 4. Mr. Thompson was appointed and is currently serving on the Legislative Committee for the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA). | |
