The Autauga County Commission is proud to join the state of Alabama in proclaiming  "Two Lights for Tomorrow" day on April 18, 2025, as part of the America 250th celebration.  

This meaningful initiative honors Paul Revere’s legendary ride, symbolizing the spirit of unity, vigilance, and our enduring quest for freedom; and 250 years later, the call for unity remains just as important.

We invite every household, business, and government office in Alabama to participate by lighting two candles or lanterns in your windows on the evening of April 18th, to commemorate this pivotal moment in American history on April 18, 1775. Let’s all shine a light on our shared values while honoring our history and celebrating our future!
